I'm a member of the Pogue Mahone SC.  Was originally in the Macc Kroozers many years ago.

love the scooter scene, not just for the scooters but mainly for the people and the music

i have been in to the scooter scene on and off since around 1985 ish. when i say on and off i mean it never left me, its just other thing take priority like kids and work etc ...... now the kids are older  and ive started aagain i feel like ive never been away and still recognise some of the people way back then.

at the moment i rise a custome sprayed LML in the them of Gene hunt and ashes to ashes (my favorite tv program)

im a 55 year old bastard from leicester ive been into scooters since 1969 i had my first scooter li 150 series 2 at the age of 15

next onto a vespa (still we all make mistakes)

and my present ride is a serveta jet 200cc i have owned for 25 years i had it in the shed for 16 years final got it back on the road 2 years ago total strip and rebuild by my self i have just bought a rapido 225 kit to put on in the near future so we will have to wait and see

im head of security at leicester university students union so ride out are very limited

into gig/scooter rally and ride out/football/goin out with mate,tattoo,

i was one of the original Southport Sandgrounders SC back in 83 till we split up in july 93 now i ride as one of the old bastard SC

i first got in the mod/ scootering scene back in 1979 as a 19 year old.Like many of my age watching quadrophenia at the "classic"  was very inspirational for me! I then managed to save up and buy my 1st vespa p150x at victor bernards 4 900 quid!I then joined the mill hill  based BLACKBURN MODERATORS S.C. which had over 50 odd members in 1980! We met every sunday at the horden Rake and tuesdays at the vulcan hotel where "George" the landlord had opened a special room for the mods . Things got a bit tricky from time to time at the pub as it was by tradition a "knebs" pub! I Went on some awsome rideouts like scarborough and Rhyl ! Great times from an unforgettable era. The club was all but gone by 1983.I had a scooter in the 90s but only used it for work!Got back into the scene proper about 4 years ago when i bought my px125 from taff!
